Good finds start with clear information.

Shopping for your pet should feel easier after you read a story. Here is the standard we use for new product guides and curated finds.

Research, with a reason

We explain the job a product is designed to do, who it may suit, and the details worth checking before buying. A research-based comparison is labeled as such. We only describe hands-on experience when the writer has actually used the product.

Affiliate links, clearly labeled

When a story includes affiliate links, we disclose that near the beginning of the article and identify those links. If you buy through one, Furry Finds may earn a commission. Purchases from an outside retailer are handled by that retailer, including delivery, returns, and customer service.

What “best seller” means

A popularity claim needs a named source, category, and date. A retailer’s bestseller ranking applies to that retailer and category at that time; it does not mean a product is best for every pet. An editorial pick is a selection, not a sales ranking.

Prices and availability change

Check the seller’s page for the current price, the exact size or variant, delivery costs, and return terms. We avoid listing prices we cannot keep current. Published guides stay dated so you can see when their information was checked.

A human makes the final call

Research tools can help prepare drafts and identify products. An editor reviews new curated guides before publication. Product information should never be mistaken for individual veterinary advice.
